This is truly an innovative idea to empower the poor kids....

In a rural village in Orissa, the poorest state in India, until recently, the poor kids faced only two choices: Either go to school and improve their long-term prospects through education, or skip school and work for a pittance so they can buy a little food. mPowering has created an app that helps to have it both ways. It enables the kids who go to school earn credits that can be redeemed for food, medicine, and other incentives.
